Why is Colombia the best option for your next adventure?
Colombia is very diverse, offering everything from Caribbean beaches and Andean peaks to coffee culture and the Amazon rainforest. You’ll find a country filled with unique rhythms, history, and incredibly warm, welcoming people ready to share their vibrant home.
Is Colombia safe to travel to?
Yes, absolutely! The country has transformed, and internal conflicts and the era of Pablo Escobar are firmly history. While it’s vital to use common sense in cities, our itineraries are safe, and we advise avoiding specific “red zones” as a precaution.
Do I need to pay a deposit upfront?
Yes, we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your bespoke arrangements, like internal flights and permits, well in advance. Please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy for all the specific terms.
How much is the required deposit?
The initial deposit is 40% of the total trip price. Also, we offer a special 5% discount if you choose to pay the full amount upfront!
Do you provide travel insurance?
We don’t provide it, but it’s essential! We highly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical costs, hospitalisation, and cancellation.
Do you have a preferred insurance partner?
Yes, we do! For your convenience, we recommend this trusted partner whose policies align perfectly with our adventurous trips: [Link to the page].
Which currency is used in Colombia, and what is the current exchange rate?
Colombia uses the Colombian Peso (COP). Today, 1 EUR exchanges for approximately 5,000 COP, but please check a live rate closer to your travel date!
When is the best time to travel to Colombia?
As Colombia has diverse microclimates, the best time depends entirely on your specific destinations and what you wish to see. Generally, December-March and July-August are the drier peak seasons, perfect for the Andes and the coast.
What type of documentation do I need to enter Colombia?
Most travellers (including EU, UK, US citizens) don’t need a visa for stays up to 90 days. You just need a passport valid for at least six months past your entry date and proof of an outbound ticket.
Are transfers included in my package?
Absolutely. All necessary transfers within Colombia are included in your bespoke package price for a seamless journey.
